Brown Street

Brown Street is a 15-bed home for women with behavioral health challenges who benefit from independent living in a communal setting. Located in Santa Rosa with easy access to shopping and public transportation, Brown Street provides a supportive residential environment where staff work with individuals. Weekly group programs focus on life skills such as money management, access to community resources, and health and nutrition. Staff actively support and encourage involvement in AA, 12 Step groups, Seeking Safety, NA, and/or dual recovery support groups.

Brown Street staff are on site 24 hours a day to support residents with daily needs such as transportation, medication  and meal preparation,  while also helping them learn skills for greater independence.

Eligibility

Potential residents must be:

  • Female
  • 18-59
  • Clients with Sonoma County Behavioral Health
  • Referred to CSN through the SCBH Linkage committee
  • Funded
