Stony Point Commons
Stony Point Commons is a 16-bed home in Western Santa Rosa. With a large yard, and 16 bedrooms, this property provides permanent low-income housing to sixteen adults with severe mental health challenges.
In this tight-knit community, on-site staff provide support and case management services to all tenants. Residents participate as part of a cooperative household, sharing all common living spaces, including kitchen, living room, dining room, and patio areas, while having a private room of their own. Weekly house meetings facilitated by the Stony Point Case Manager help clients to discuss household issues by problem solving as a group. Weekly educational groups and classes are also offered.
Potential residents of this HUD-funded program must:
- Be an individual with a disability (we serve individuals with severe and persistent mental health conditions)
- Have income classified as extremely low/low
- Meet the HUD definition of chronically homeless
